About this event

The South London Cardiac Operational Delivery Network invites all primary care clinicians to a one hour interactive virtual seminar with a practical overview of cardiology in primary care.

The session will cover:

  • Identifying valve disease
  • Managing valve disease in primary care and which patients to refer to secondary care for review and treatment
  • Appropriate referral to open access echo
  • Interpreting echocardiogram reports

We will be joined by speakers from trusts across south east London:

  • Dr Alexandros Papachristidis, Consultant Cardiologist with specialist interest in cardiac imaging at King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust
  • Dr Ronak Rajani, Consultant Cardiologist with specialist interest in heart valve disease and cardiac imaging at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust
